Willow, Poppy and the Honey

Ahhh... Sonoma County after the rain. So fresh- the dirt and trees and bugs! So many bugs!! It's nice.
I'm on a break from being a car magnet for the weekend, hanging up in Santa Rosa with my Mom. Honey and I took a nice long walk today to soak in all the newness of the day.
Along our route, we walk through some country streets: best part of the walk, smells so good. Lots of puddles and worms and mud. Interesting stuff for a rambunctious dog!Fun for me too.
The last few tours of the hood I've enjoyed with Honey, I've noticed that she is quite enamored with farm animals. Along the way we encounter a Shetland Pony and 2 Billy goats- but across the street from the Billys, it's quite obvious who she really wants to see: Willow and Poppy. These adorable Nigerian Dwarf goats live beneath a giant Evergreen, one of those kid's plastic playhouses in the background. When we arrived, they were both standing on top of the house. omg so fricking cute.
Honey LOVES these goats! She goes nuts. Seriously freaks out with joy! I think it's because she was born on a Dairy in Petaluma. Who cares! It's so cute! They come to the fence, and today she smooched Willow on top of her head... but then Poppy started freaking out, meeeeeeeehhhing like cuuh-razy so I got her collected and we made our way up the street called Benjamins.
Lovely day, wonderful weekend away.
